The colors, black and white, are used in many cases as purely aesthetic. However, as the human eye sees everything in color, it stimulates our receptivity and it brings us out of the everyday. Usually, we ascribe them characteristics such as elegance, sobriety, drama, mystery or nostalgia... attributes for which the black and white is used in many forms of art, for example, in music videos.

El blanco y negro es utilizado en muchos casos como algo puramente estético. Sin embargo (y ya que el ojo humano ve todo en color) estimula nuestra capacidad receptiva y nos hace salir de lo cotidiano. Por lo general se le atribuyen características tales como: elegancia, sobriedad, drama, misterio, nostalgia... Atributos por los que el blanco y negro es usado en muchas formas de arte, como por ejemplo: en los vídeos musicales.

Discovering Korean Indie Music

Generally speaking, the international independent music not only comes of 2 countries, the indie bands who made it and now are famous are also from US and UK. But now, there´s a new important development of bands with eye-catching concepts from around the world; to be specific in South Korea. To describe the way I discovered this “genre”, I would have to share and describe my own experiences.

Descubriendo la música independiente de Corea del Sur.

Generalmente hablando, la música independiente a nivel internacional no solo proviene de 2 países. Por lo general las bandas que saltan a la fama pertenecen a UK y US, pero ahora existe un desarrollo importante de bandas con conceptos interesantes alrededor del mundo y para ser precisa en Corea del Sur. Para relatar como descubrí este "género" debo explicar mi experiencia personal.
